Tammie is our full time contact lens specialist.  She takes pride in the care of each individual patient and improving the quality of lives in our community. When not working, Tammie enjoys spending time with her friends and two children. She enjoys singing in her church choir.

Patty Johnson

Patty is our full time Optical Manager with over 13 years experience in the eye care industry. She will help you select eyewear for your face shape and personal style, as well as the latest technological lenses that are best for your lifestyle . If you have any questions about what type of eyewear will fit your needs, just ask for Patty. She will be happy to provide you an individual consultation. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews when away from work. She has an active lifestyle with her two black labs, Widgeon and Salty, hunting and fishing. She enjoys spending many of her weekends at the Outer Banks. Patty is an active member of her church and regularly teaches Sunday school.

Wanda Halliburton, CPO

Wanda is our full time insurance and billing coordinator.  She has over ten years experience in the optical industry and takes pride in providing quality service and products to our patients.  Wanda enjoys spending time with her two sons when away from the office.

Teresa Weant

Teresa is our full time Patient Care Coordinator and Optometric Technician, with 15 yrs of experience in the eye care industry. When out of the office Teresa enjoys working in her flower garden, spending time with her husband, two children, and their two dogs.

Marian Cherry

Marian is our full time Patient Care Coordinator. When not with her work family, she enjoys just being at home by the pool with her husband, three kids and her dog Remmy.

Carmen Costner

Carmen is one of our frame and lens specialists. She will be happy to recommend eyeglass frames, lenses, and lens treatments after considering the prescription and the patient’s occupation, habits, and facial features. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science with minors in Biology and Psychology. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their two dogs while away from work.

Katie Rubidoux

Katie is our full time Clinical Care coordinator. Before each visit with the doctor, Katie spends time with each patient performing all necessary testing, assessing patients needs, ensuring proper patient flow through the office. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children when away from work.
